About the Celebration

The 2024 Lifeworks Annual Celebration takes place on April 18, 2024, at The Depot in Minneapolis! We’re celebrating disability inclusion as the key that unlocks opportunities for people with disabilities across our communities. Your participation will help Lifeworks expand our reach to make the world more welcoming to people with disabilities.

  • Hear stories from people we partner with at Lifeworks
  • Be part of investing in advancing disability inclusion
  • Support our mission during the fund-a-need, live auction, and silent auction

Help us spread the word!

Inspire others to support Lifeworks by sharing our event with your network. To assist you, we’ve created a toolkit that includes an overview, templates, engagement ideas, and more!

Our Special Guest

Lifeworks is excited to welcome Sheletta Brundidge as our special guest at the 2023 Annual Celebration!

As a mother of children with autism, Sheletta is driving change and reimagining possibilities through her advocacy and leadership.

Sheletta is the founder of SHElettaMakesMeLaugh.com, an online podcasting company that provides culturally competent commercial production. Sheletta is an Emmy® Award-winning comedian, radio host, television anchor, and newspaper columnist.

With her podcast shows, social activism, and bestselling autism children’s books, Sheletta is living up to her reputation as a change maker.

Our Host

Lifeworks is grateful to have A.J. Hilton as our Emcee! A.J. joined WCCO-TV as a morning news anchor in June of 2022. Originally from Apple Valley, A.J. graduated from the University of Minnesota and started his career in Alexandria at KSAX. He then ventured to Michigan, Tallahassee, and most recently, Nashville. Whether it’s being a Big Brother, volunteering at the local food bank, or reading to his children, A.J. enjoys spending time with his local communities.
